1. Our Copyright Policy
We take copyright infringement seriously. Content that infringes on intellectual property rights will be removed, and repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
If you believe that content on ViralID infringes your copyright, please follow the DMCA takedown procedure outlined below.
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
To file a copyright infringement claim, you must provide a written notice containing the following information:

A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list. - Identification of the infringing material:
A description of where the infringing material is located on our platform, including the URL or other identifying information so we can locate it. - Your contact information:
Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address. - Good faith statement:
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. - Accuracy statement:
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner. - Physical or electronic signature:
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or person authorized to act on their behalf.

Please allow 24-48 hours for processing. You will receive a confirmation email once your notice is received.
3. Filing a Counter-Notification
If you believe that content you posted was removed in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with the following information:

- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material:
Description of the material that was removed and its location before removal - Good faith statement:
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification - Your name, address, and phone number
- Consent to jurisdiction:
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or Los Angeles County if outside the US), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
ViralID maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers. Our policy includes:
- First Infringement: Content removed, warning issued
- Second Infringement: Content removed, account suspended for 30 days
- Third Infringement: Account permanently terminated
We reserve the right to immediately terminate accounts in cases of severe or willful infringement.
5. False Claims and Misrepresentation
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or was removed by mistake may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees.
Please ensure that your DMCA notice or counter-notification is accurate and made in good faith before submitting.
6. Our Response Process
When we receive a valid DMCA takedown notice:
- We review the notice for completeness and validity
- We remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
- We notify the user who posted the content
- We provide the user with information about filing a counter-notification
- We track infringement history for repeat infringer policy enforcement
7. Limitation of Liability
ViralID acts as a service provider under the DMCA safe harbor provisions. We are not liable for copyright infringement by our users, provided we comply with DMCA notice and takedown procedures. We do not actively monitor all user-generated content but respond promptly to valid infringement claims.
8. User Responsibilities
All users of ViralID must:
- Only upload content they own or have permission to use
- Respect intellectual property rights of others
- Not use our platform to distribute pirated or unauthorized content
- Provide proof of ownership when requested
- Report suspected copyright infringement
